Learning rice agriculture, the origin of Japanese culture

2019-06-11

Rice agriculture, passed down in an unbroken tradition since ancient times, is the origin of Japanese culture. Carefully planting the seedlings in a paddy filled with water, and keeping watch over the plants which grow up healthy, battling insects and blight, through wind, rain and typhoons.
Feeling the southerly wind across the verdant fields in summer, and harvesting in autumn the hanging golden ears of rice.
